PDF (Portable Data Format) was developed by Adobe. The PDF format is operating system, monitor and printer independent, making it increasingly popular for document distribution. PDF files cannot be easily modified, some are even protected by passwords and/or cannot be printed.
To export your file to PDF just press the PDF symbol in the menu bar. Or choose the menu File › Export as PDF… This latter method offers you more options.
