This section outlines the functionality provided by OpenOffice Basic. The available runtime library functions are also described. The functionality is based upon the Basic online help integrated in Apache OpenOffice, but limited to particular functions. Use the Basic online help to obtain further information about the complete Basic functionality.
Apart from the Apache OpenOffice API, OpenOffice Basic is compatible to Visual Basic.
