To modify the display of bibliography entries:

  1. Right-click anywhere in the bibliography.
  2. From the pop-up menu, choose Edit Index/Table. The Insert Index/Table dialog box opens and you can edit and save the table using the five pages described in Formatting the Bibliography.

To update or delete the bibliography, follow the same process as described in the sections Updating a table of contents and Deleting a table of contents.

Tools for working with bibliographies

If you find Writer’s bibliography feature too limited, try Bibus (http://bibus-biblio.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) or Zotero (http://www.zotero.org/). Both programs are free and open source and are reported to work well with Writer.
