This project creates and maintains documentation in English for OpenOffice.org. Documentation can include user guides, FAQs, How Tos, samples, User Templates, the application help and training materials. The project has a home page on the web as well.

This is a wiki, so feel free to contribute to Apache OpenOffice documentation.

What's New
  • November 2010 - Impress Guide 2nd edition (updated for OOo 3.2) published in individual chapters - PDF. Full book coming soon. Update of wiki version is in progress.
  • September 2010 - OOoCon 2010 Doc Project presentation is available via the OOo Con 2010 website.
  • July 2010 - Draw Guide published in PDF - full book and individual chapters - PDF. Update of wiki version is in progress.
  • June 2010 - Calc Guide published in PDF - full book and individual chapters - PDF. Update of wiki version is in progress.
  • June 2010 - Bounties announced for Developer documentation.
  • June 2010 - The Installation Guide has been updated with changes in Apache OpenOffice 3.2.1 (mainly rebranding)
