About me

My name is Gareth McMullin. I'm an electronic engineer by profession. I've been a user of open-source software for many years, and have recently started contributing to some small projects. I've registered for a course in open-source technical documentation, and I'll be making some contributions as part of this course. My experience is mostly in embedded software and digital hardware development, but I am interested in improving my written communication capability.

OpenOffice and me

My experience of OpenOffice is limited to basic spreadsheet work in OpenOffice Calc for simple designs and keeping accounting information.

My Contributions

I'll be making some contributions to the OpenOffice documentation as part of my technical documentation course. These will be posted here.

Work in Progress

I have identified some issues in the Wiki article Documentation/How Tos/Using SQLite With OpenOffice.org. I'll be making some updates after discussing the issues.
