If you are planning to install a printer at your office then first read what is written below: Laser printers are potentially hazardous to health if operated in a manner that ignores their location, maintenance and usage. Risk increases more when the room wherein printer is installed is too small, ventilation is poor and usage is high. Excessive dust in electrical equipment will cause sparking. Try to have your printer installed in a well ventilated room. Also make sure that a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher is available near the machine. If these things are kept in mind then the hazards to health caused by a laser printer can be avoided!
