I hope this is not misusing the discussion page, but I don't get the following and I think this page should answear this question:

Can OpenOffice be launched from an application and driven trough this (or another) API? Like MS Word has .NET interop and the application can be treated as an object. This oject's methods are simmilar to actions you do in the suite - open, find/replace, save... --BayerMeister 14:19, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
