OpenOffice.org 2.0.x Release

Concerns for release

This is just a loose collection of what people have raised in different forums for the 2.0 release. There is now not an agreement or resources available to fix them. Please no flames at this page !!!

• CJK: Paragraph Style's Default settings ( http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=54320 ), target is 2.0.2 or 2.0.1

• external/common/*.jar: are they proprietary or not? ( http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=21678 ), ASAP, 2.0.2

• "Bullet symbols on some systems not displayed in OpenSymbol font" ( http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=45163 ), fixed for 2.0 but Win98 still a problem ( http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=47009 )

Issues and Decisions

• regression: (linked) Images in WORD document not displayed unless filename contains underscore "_" ( http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=56510 )

• regression: Plugin objects & applets don't play in Slide Show mode (http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=49357) - marked fixed for 2.0.3 new target: 2.0.4

• regression: single comma pushed to next line if word begins with hyphen ( http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=65267 )
