Company Community collaboration

What is this?

With the move from Oracle to the Apache Software Foundation, the project changed a load. There is anymore one big company who control the whole project. But there is also anymore one big company who do all the programming stuff for the project. So the community has to take over much more responsability.

Moast of the ASF projects live from business. In the projects are often companys or self-employed people involved. Sametimes this companys has a direct interest, sametimes they doing the work for third-party. But they have employees who work for the project.

Apache OpenOffice has this too. But this modell could be much better developed.
