The UX task backlog is a collection of open ux-oriented tasks that need community support. Volunteers are needed to take ownership, and perform the tasks. Please consider reaching in and assisting with the following task:

User Experience Design Tasks
Through design research and strategic analysis, AOO UX seeks to gain insight into our users, their needs, and how they integrate OpenOffice into their life. Design research and analysis inspires and guides informed design. Design explorations and design concepts are created to realize our user's requirements. Design concepts are reviewed, tested, refined and crafted into a focused design direction. To turn ideas into reality, we specify, document, and deliver project details to the community for implementation. Our efforts support both the OpenOffice project's Web resources and the OpenOffice software. If you're interested in performing some research, design or evaluation, we want to hear from you!

Visual Design Tasks
Visual design is about creating stunning artwork to be used in the OpenOffice productivity suite, in the OpenOffice project's websites, wikis, forum, blogs, and in the OpenOffice project's marketing material. It is also about improving the quality and consistency of the visual branding language, which represents our whole community.
