Intro
My name is Frank Loehmann and I am the project lead of the OpenOffice.org User Experience Project. I am a member of Sun's User Experience Team, working on OpenOffice.org in Hamburg, Germany. I have been working on StarOffice/OpenOffice.org in different positions for more than a decade right now, the last 9 years with the User Experience Team.
Current Areas of Involvement
- Project Renaissance
- Performance Project
- Prepare UX part for OOo performance team: Create usage scenarios where performance issues show up when using OOo
- Work on Wiki structure
- Check possibility to rework/extend own Load/Save dialogs (with MBA)
- Add possibility to remove language attribute
- Start-Center: Allow to call start-center even if a document is open.
- ODF/PDF Hybrid Format Discussion
- Ask for dev support for ODF document statistic tool
- Synchronize size of new statusbar zoom slider for in Draw/Impress/Calc/Writer
