The goal of Google Highly Open Participaton contest is to give the opportunity to pre-university students to jump into the process of developing open source software for established projects like OpenOffice.org.

Our goal is to provide a friendly environment within the OpenOffice.org community and provide the information the participant will need to find their way around the project.
