How do I turn off number recognition in tables?
I want the number or date to be displayed in a certain way in a table, but OpenOffice.org automatically changes to another format. How do I stop it?
If you type 03.29.2011 in a table, OpenOffice.org will display 03/29/11 instead. If you type 03292011, OpenOffice.org will omit the leading zero.
In order to cancel the number recognition function, follow the steps below:
- Go to Tools > Options.
- Choose OpenOffice.org Writer.
- Click Table.
- Click and cancel the Number recognition box.
