How do I assign a keyboard shortcut to a style?
You can assign keyboard shortcuts to frequently used paragraph and character styles. To assign keyboard shortcuts to frequently used paragraphs and character styles:
- Go to Tools > Customize.
- Click on the Keyboard tab.
- In the Category list, select Styles > Character Styles. In the Function list, click on the name of the style.
- Select a key combination and click Modify.
- Click OK to save the change.
Note: You can do the same on the Toolbars tab to assign a style to a toolbar button.
