OpenOffice.org does have some measurement units such as cm/mm/inch etc. used for writing typesetting, while it's not sufficient for CJK users, especially referring to indent, line space, character space, ruler and so on. So we need to add an measurement unit named "character unit" for CJK users to avoid the messed layout because of font type and font size changes, for example.


With this newly added character unit, it will be much easier to do writing typesetting than now. Here is the specification of this new feature
