TEST/Doc/Note works

when inserted w/o line break:

2. second point

   NOTE relating to second point...

also works like this:

   NOTE relating to second point...

and in higher levels:

2. second point
   1. second level/first point

      NOTE relating to second point...

   2. second level/second point
3. third point

      NOTE relating to second point...

The only failure occurs when inserted w/o line break:

1. first point
2. second point

NOTE relating to second point...

1. third point

but this breaks numbering anyway.
