My motivation to contribute to OOo so far is a mixture of curiosity, idealism, and fun. I like the Open Source / Open Content ideas as social experiments, as civil reaction to privatization and intellectual property rights. I'd be more than happy if many of these projects were successfull. Unfortunately, my IT skills are not professional, so I can't bring the project really forward. Instead, I'm trying to be one of the "small contributors", one in a million, which make only small steps - but nevertheless can make a difference because of their mass.
