About Me

My name is Andre Fischer. I was born in Cologne (Köln for the ones able to read umlauts) a while ago, studied computer science in Bonn and finished with a diploma and a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.). Since the beginning of the current millenium I am living in Hamburg and working for Oracle (previously Sun Microsystems) on OpenOffice.org/StarOffice.
