Free Documentation License

--Ccornell 08:41, 14 September 2007 (CEST) The licensing is a very important part of the site. Just for reference... all Sun documentation is released under the PDL, and the OOoAuthors documentation is released under CC. This has caused a little problem from Sun's side when we wanted to reuse (with permission of course) some of the text created by the OOoAuthors group. Lawyers... what can you do? From Sun's side, if we license the forum content under PDL it makes life easy for us to reuse the text in the mainstream OOo documentation (eg: mine the forum for info to improve the application help).
