IMO however the OO.o main site, and even OOoForum to some extent feel like a board room, as in corporate boar room, or project meeting room.

I hope this site is more akin to the office relaxation area. ( coffee knock, athlete center, lounge )

This can't detract from the main goal of the site - helping users solve problems by acting as a knowledge resource and offering limited interactive support via the forum. The site design should try to foster a relaxed approach to delivering that goal.

I still feel strongly that we should be open to more of the social networking features possible, beyond just the forum. With that in mind it seems worth while to expect added features ( services ) to the site, we might as well set a template for the look and feel right now. It will be less work in the long run to do it now.
