prefered deletion procedure

Thanks for the proposal of a speedy deletion procedure. It looks like there are three different ways to suggest an article for deletion:
article's talk page, the OOoWiki:Speedy_deletions page and the category.

Wouldn't one mechanism suffice?

Just adding {{delete}} on the page automatically puts it in the category, which just let's the admins see all the ones nominated for deletion on one page. Perhaps a {{db|reason}} would be good also. OOoWiki:Speedy deletions would be the place to talk about why it should be deleted and post supporting or opposing opinions. --Pmsyyz 06:16, 30 November 2005 (CET)

That clarifies the useful usage of categories, thanks.
Nevertheless it leaves us with two suggestions for the discussion of a proposed deletion. I think we should avoid this ambiguity and point to the OOoWiki page only.
