Setting a TargetMilestone

  • A target milestone should only be set, if you are sure you have the resources availabe to fix an issue for the targeted release. For individuals this means that you also have to reassign the issue to yourself to indicate which person gave the committment for fixing (this may be slighty different for larger teams, such as child workspace teams or Sun's development team, where one person reassigns issues to other team members)
  • If somebody is not sure about how to get patches reviewed or integrated this should be raised on the dev@openoffice.org list. There everybody should get assistance to get the correct target milestone and owner set.
