SIDS

I think there is a mix up. SID (slot id) are not part of vcl. Theire actually comming from the sfx2 projects and are used by all applications that are still based on sfx2 ( writer, calc, draw, impress ). There is already a working replacement for slot ids based on strings. See XDispatch interfaces, framework project or xml configuration files for menus or toolbars
