OK, so I can generate an SVG using Inkscape or Gnuplot, and the file will open in Firefox or EOG etc.  However, when I open OOo Draw and attempt to open the SVG OOo Draw most often crashes completely.  If not, then the SVG is very mutilated.  Does anyone else have any experience with this problem?  Specifically, I am desperate to get graphs from Gnuplot into OOo Presenter in some kind of vector-based form.  This SVG import filter would be perfect if I can get it to work!

Hi,
 +
I tryed to import some patterns from openclipart library (chessboard and other) but I always get blue rectangle. The same problem with OOo 2.2 and 2.3, also in GoOOo (running Win XP Pro SP2). Resaving in Inkscape as plain svg does not solve the problem. Other svg images import working correctly.

any advice?

PS: strange thing is that also Irfanview is not able to view exported png from these files - views black screen.
