| + | I Concur. Some of the competitors already have text block-based commenting functionality, although what may be an issue in this case is implementation in the actual OpenDocument format. If the current, 1.2 format version does not support this, then it will most likely be in the next, 1.3 format. ODF format changes usually manifest in major OOo releases (1.1 in OOo 2.0, 1.2 in OOo 3.0). My pessimistic view of this is that as desirable as this functionality may be, the actual implementation may be off by one major release cycle and a few years to boot :/. I Concur. Some of the competitors already have text block-based commenting functionality, although what may be an issue in this case is implementation in the actual OpenDocument format. If the current, 1.2 format version does not support this, then it will most likely be in the next, 1.3 format.
