This page needs a technical refresh:
- Too much discussion of the older OpenOffice.org formats. That part can be entirely eliminated and we can focus on ODF as the default.
- We should revisit what the best advice is for exchanging files with MS Office users. For example, if read-only access is sufficient then send a PDF.
- Need to review the import/export formats actually supported in AOO 4.0
- Should mention support (or lack of support) for OOXML and iWork formats
Agree with all of the above, strip to only what's necessary and should add a comment about round tripping
