Just exactly WHERE is the Insert function?

I am trying to Insert > Object > Formula in a blank math document, per the wiki instructions, to no avail.

My end goal is to be able to select what I see after entering the formula, so that I may copy and paste it to other documents.

As it is, if I try to copy and paste, I can only get the language used to enter the formula, not what you see above the entry box.

Thanx!

You can also use the Formula converter extension and convert your formula to a PNG and insert the image wherever you need that common formula. --ccornell 13:21, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
