Shouldn't the calculation of COVAR be (the sum of the products of the differences of x and y from their averages) divided by N, where N is the number of observations?

COVAR ({−1; 1}; {−1; 1}) = 1
(−1) ⋅ (−1) + 1 ⋅ 1 = 2
