Subversion, commonly abbreviated as SVN, is a versioning control system like CVS. A switch from CVS to Subversion was evaluated. Subversion is newer than CVS and does potentially better meet the needs of large software projects. As of milestone DEV300_m31 OOo migrated to Subversion.
