Storyboards can be very helpful for the production or localization of a screencast. Depending on the way you work you can decide how to write your screencast. It is recomended to always have at least a guide of the spoken narration, so that it is easier for other community members to localize the screencast.

You can use your storyboard for making a simultaneous recording of voice and screen action. But you can also use as a guide for editing when sound and video are recorded separately.

There are no general rules for the storyboards, but trying to make them understandable for possible localizations is important. You can of course make changes and list the steps to follow as detailed as you want. Here is a template for a possible screencast storyboard
