(14:58:29) #oooreleases: The topic for #oooreleases is: Release-Stauts-Meeting, every monday at 15:00 Hamburg Time (13:00 UTC in summer)
(14:59:49) mdamboldt: Hi
(15:00:23) mdamboldt: Hello and welcome to the first release status meeting in 2011.
(15:00:55) rtimm: Hi
(15:01:11) mla: happy new year to all :-)
(15:01:38) mdamboldt: yes happy new year, anybody else "realy online" and not only reading later on?
(15:02:12) Mechtilde: happy new year
(15:02:36) Mechtilde: I try to be really online ;-)
(15:03:24) mdamboldt: Mechtilde: Happy new year, too! Happy to see you here.
(15:03:53) mdamboldt: Ok, so lets start with the current status, also for the "reading later folks" ;)
(15:04:09) xHDE left the room (quit: Ping timeout: 272 seconds).
(15:04:32) mdamboldt: OpenOffice.org 3.3 rc8 has been published in December last year. Afterwards we received three stopper nominations on the mailing list.
(15:04:39) mdamboldt: Issue 110384
(15:04:45) IZBot: Spreadsheet DEFECT NEW P2 Extremely slow scrolling in calc when charts are displayed http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=110384
(15:04:49) gibi33 [~quassel@cub33-1-88-165-207-2.fbx.proxad.net] entered the room.
(15:06:50) mdamboldt: This one is not a stopper for the 3.3 release. #110384 contains detailed informations about the status of the reported issue. Development is constantly working on improving antialiasing. But there is nothing left we can quickly do for the 3.3 release at this point in time.

(15:07:04) mdamboldt: Next one. Issue 116164
(15:07:10) IZBot: Spreadsheet DEFECT UNCONFIRMED P3 File to show 8192 discontinuities crashes Calc http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=116164
(15:08:43) mdamboldt: #116164 is related to the Calc 1 mil rows feature in the 3.3 release. Development is currently looking into the details.
(15:08:46) IZBot: Spreadsheet DEFECT UNCONFIRMED P3 File to show 8192 discontinuities crashes Calc http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=116164
(15:09:50) mdamboldt: So far we don't know any details whether this can be fixed for 3.3 and what the risks of corresponding changes would be.
(15:10:15) mdamboldt: And the third one is Issue 115944
(15:10:22) IZBot: Presentation DEFECT NEW P2 Can't open pptx in Impress http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=115944
(15:10:46) mdamboldt: Development is looking into this one, too. Some findings have already been noted in the issue.
(15:11:24) mdamboldt: Any further items to raise in point of view to the 3.3 release which have not been reported on the mailing list yet?
(15:14:58) mdamboldt: Any opinions about the two nominated open stopper issues? (Even if we don't have all technical details at hand yet)
(15:16:37) paveljanik: PPTX one is a stopper IMO
(15:16:48) xHDE [~HelD@nat/sun/x-opmajzyclqppoxhv] entered the room.
(15:19:32) paveljanik: looks like everyone is still celebrating new year :-)
(15:20:37) blauwal: hehe one could think so :-)
(15:22:35) mdamboldt: ok, I will post further informations about these issues on the mailing list
(15:23:04) rtimm: mdamboldt: yes, that might help.
(15:23:23) mdamboldt: Afterwards we will see whether another RC would be required / will be possible to fix those or not.
(15:23:41) blauwal: yes, I can not really make my mind up regarding 115944
(15:23:49) mdamboldt: So it seems thats all for todays meeting.....
(15:24:21) mdamboldt: ....I will keep you updated on the mailing list.
