The service affords any person with a valid Oracle web logon account the ability to setup discussion groups.

This group service offers the members two basic resources:

Multi-user blog - any member of the group may post to the blog.

including a simple voting add-on package

Chat services

- irc style chat room per group, always there.

- simple online panel discussion facility


With the acquisition of Sun Microsystems by Oracle the OpenOffice.org comminuty members are beginning to make use of this new resource.
