The meta Issue xx is to track potential Beta Stopper and meta Issue yy is for potential Release Blocker. If anyone would like to raise an issue for the release, please first make sure it can be defined as Showstopper before dropping a mail on releases@openoffice.org. Then write issue ID, problem statement and why you want to declare that issue as a stopper for this release. If accepted, the issue ID will be added to the meta issue.
Release relevant issues
There are changes in the release process:
- Tracking of critical release relevant issues (see above), branch off will be done if no more of 25 release relevant issues (regressions, data loss issues, P2 usability, a11y issues) are open
- At the same time code freeze on the DEV300 code line is starting February, 14th until branch off
