SPONSORSHIP/EXHIBITOR AGREEMENT & INVOICE

7th International OpenOffice.org Conference (OOoCon 2009) Orvieto, Italy - November 03-06, 2009

The Seventh International OpenOffice.org Conference is addressing the technology, practice, and promise of OpenOffice.org and takes place November 03-06, 2009 in Orvieto, Italy. This is a unique opportunity to meet the community, users, and community sponsors, and to explore the potential of OpenOffice.org as a platform for developers and users to build on.

Panels will range from the technical to the evangelical; from discussions on the theory and practice of building code to expanding the reach of the application and community. More information about the conference is provided at http://conference.services.openoffice.org.

AVAILABLE PACKAGES

The following sponsor packages are available:

Platinum

• Colored double page advertisement in the conference program (Page size will be DIN A4)
• Positioning of a large size booth at the conference venue
• Extra large logo
  • at the conference website (with link to your product or service)
  • at all sponsorship banners at the venue
  • in the conference program booklet
  • at all related marketing materials (e.g. fliers)
• Sponsorship information included in all relevant press releases
• Special note of gratitude in the opening and closing ceremony
• Exhibition space
• Up to two kilograms of your materials in the 'conference bag'

A minimum donation of EUR 5,000 is requested to qualify for Platinum Sponsorship Level.

Gold

• Colored single page advertisement in the conference program (Page size will be DIN A4)
• Positioning of a medium size booth at the conference venue
• Large logo
  • at the conference website (with link to your product or service)
  • at all sponsorship banners at the venue
  • in the conference program booklet
  • at all related marketing materials (e.g. fliers)
• Note of gratitude in the opening and closing ceremony
• Exhibition space
• Up to one kilogram of your materials in the 'conference bag'

A minimum donation of Eur 2,000 is requested to qualify for Gold Sponsorship Level.

Silver

• Colored half page advertisement in the conference program (Full page size will be DIN A4)
• Positioning of a small size booth at the conference venue
• Logo
  • at the conference website (with link to your product or service)
  • at all sponsorship banners at the venue
  • in the conference program booklet
  • at all related marketing materials (e.g. fliers)
• Note of gratitude in the opening and closing ceremony
• Up to 500 grams of your material in the 'conference bag'

A minimum donation of EUR 1.000 is requested to qualify for Silver Sponsorship Level.

Material, media, technical

If you wish to contribute to the conference in a different manner, there are many other options to offer. Some of the potential sponsorships include renting technical equipment (computers, projectors, audio&video equipment), media coverage of the event in the form of free commercials and ads, or offering your services for the time of the conference. This will give ou a logo presence on all marketing materials including the webpage together with a right to distribute your markyeting materials at the conference.

Additional sponsor opportunities

If you think the Platinum package is not yet enough for an appropriate representation of your organization at the OOoCon or you want to donate for a special purpose, e.g. taking on the travel expense of a keynote speaker, please contact the organizers and ask for custom sponsorship opportunities.

Your donation is due in one payment on October 1st, 2009. We cannot include your company in the program or preliminary promotional opportunities without receipt of this agreement before September 24th and payment until October 1st, 2008.

We would also kindly like to ask you to provide a allowance of using your organizations logo for OOoCon purposes and as well a hint where to find the appropriate logo files, preferably in a format appropriate for scalable sizing.

PAYMENT & LOGISTICS

The payments shall be transfered to Associazione PLIO , a co-organizer of the event.

WE CANNOT INCLUDE YOUR ORGANIZATION IN THE PROGRAM OR PRELIMINARY PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES WITHOUT RECEIPT OF THIS AGREEMENT AND PAYMENT. THE AGREEMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED BINDING WHEN IT HAS BEEN ACCEPTED AND SIGNED BY REPRESENTATIVES OF ASSOCIAZIONE PLIO

DISCLAIMER

Associazione PLIO and LUG Orvieto will not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur to a sponsor or to a sponsor's employees or property from any cause whatsoever, including theft. Under no circumstances will Associazione PLIO and LUG Orvieto be liable for lost profits or other incidental or consequential damages arising from any failure to perform hereunder.

Associazione PLIO and LUG Orvieto shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations under this agreement as a result of strikes, riots, acts of God, or any other cause beyond its control. Sponsors agree to abide by existing agreements and regulations covering the use of services or labor in the conference facility. Sponsors assume full responsibility and liability for the acts or omissions of its agents, employees, or independent contractors whether acting within or without the scope of their authority.

Associazione PLIO and LUG Orvieto shall not be responsible or liable for any delay or failure of its performance obligations hereunder due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control; and Associazione PLIO and LUG Orvieto performance obligations shall be excused for so long as such circumstances continue. In the event that such circumstances continue beyond the dates of the event, then Associazione PLIO and LUG Orvieto obligations hereunder shall be entirely excused.

Sponsors understand that neither Associazione PLIO and LUG Orvieto do maintain insurance covering the exhibitor’s property and it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain such insurance.
