Project Management Tool (OOPM) is the incubator subproject for developing an OpenOffice.org Project Management application.

The project has just had it's five year birthday and is in the phase where the requirements for a prototype are being analyzed.

The actual development is the next phase. Right now we're focusing on how to start the development so the project can have a working prototype in a couple of months.

If you want to participate then please go to the OOPM mailing list page and subscribe to one or more of the lists. Here is a short overview:

  • Announce - Announcements of new releases and other major project events.
  • Issues - automated notifications and discussions of the project's reported issues/artifacts and changes made to issues/artifacts.
  • Cvs - automated notification of file version control change in the project and discussion of those changes.
  • Dev - main list for developers of the OpenOffice.org Project Management application.
  • Users - general discussion list for the end users of the OpenOffice.org Project Management application.
  • Discuss - discussions about the general nature of project management, project management tools, and the OpenOffice.org Project Management application and project.
