Mercurial, commonly abbreviated as HG, is a versioning control system like CVS or Subversion. Mercurial is the DSCM (Distributed Source Code Management) tool of choice for OpenOffice.org. The current development line DEV300 will be hosted via Mercurial as of Oct. 26, 2009.
