Return to December Meetings

[2007-12-19 14:05:47] <PhilippL> 1. Welcome new devs joining Mac OS X port
[2007-12-19 14:05:52] <PhilippL> Anybody new here ?
[2007-12-19 14:06:30] <PhilippL> 2. Current state of the open CWS's
[2007-12-19 14:06:57] <PhilippL> nativeprintdlg01 is almost RfQ, just searching a QARep (which hopefully will be jsi)
[2007-12-19 14:07:07] <PhilippL> aquavcl04 is still RfQ
[2007-12-19 14:07:18] <PhilippL> aquavcl05 is open
[2007-12-19 14:07:46] <PhilippL> macosxdnd is nearing completion I think
[2007-12-19 14:08:10] <fne> in aqua11y01 we had some progress regarding folating windows. further we made contact to an apple accessibility developer. he gave us valuable information, saving us some time researching...
[2007-12-19 14:08:18] <fne> floating
[2007-12-19 14:08:54] <PhilippL> and I think obr told me that we really want native context menus ?
[2007-12-19 14:09:14] <fne> we 're thinking about that, yes..
[2007-12-19 14:09:37] <fne> i dont't know if a decision was made yet
[2007-12-19 14:10:07] <PhilippL> does anybody know how far aquafilepicker02 is ? I'm annoyed by the native dialog on leopard that doesn't work right :-)
[2007-12-19 14:11:40] <PhilippL> any other CWS news ?
[2007-12-19 14:12:33] <PhilippL> then we are at
[2007-12-19 14:12:34] * cloph plans to finally finish cloph10 this year (the languagepack for Mac one)
[2007-12-19 14:12:36] <PhilippL> 3. Roundtable ?
[2007-12-19 14:12:50] <PhilippL> cloph: oh, good.
[2007-12-19 14:13:11] <PhilippL> What with shaunmcdonald and cross platform language packs ?
[2007-12-19 14:13:12] <cloph> Although maybe it will be obsolete for 3.0, depending on whether we're forced to switch to another packaging format because of the URE-split.
[2007-12-19 14:13:41] <cloph> cross-platform in the sense works on windows, linux, mac,...?
[2007-12-19 14:13:53] <cloph> If yes, then these could be done when languagepacks could be installed as extension.
[2007-12-19 14:14:07] <cloph> That would be the best solution.
[2007-12-19 14:14:10] <PhilippL> cloph: yes, I think that was shaun's idea.
[2007-12-19 14:15:17] <cloph> I'm not sure whether help displays the OS-specific parts at runtime or whether those are stripped-out during build time.
[2007-12-19 14:16:06] <PhilippL> no idea either
[2007-12-19 14:16:43] <cloph> If it is during runtime, then languagepacks as extensions are more realistic. But as this would involve changing unopkg and more code in core-OOo, and I'm not skillfull enough for that.
[2007-12-19 14:16:57] <cloph> The current approach I took involves only packaging and a small applescript  :-)
[2007-12-19 14:19:32] <PhilippL> About the next meeting: will there be one on 26th ?
[2007-12-19 14:20:32] <cloph> I guess we can skip that - probably there won't be many people around.
[2007-12-19 14:20:59] <fne> +1
[2007-12-19 14:21:02] <PhilippL> Ok, what about 2nd of january ?
[2007-12-19 14:21:18] <fne> i would attend
[2007-12-19 14:21:22] <cloph> sound OK
[2007-12-19 14:22:44] <PhilippL> ok, noted. However I won't be there on 2nd, so could somebody handle the log on that date ? e.g fne ?
[2007-12-19 14:23:06] <fne> i'll try
[2007-12-19 14:23:11] <PhilippL> fne: thanks
[2007-12-19 14:24:48] <PhilippL> Any other issues ?
