- The axis line and axis labels can now be positioned more flexible (Issue 85625).

Plotting of missing values
- The user now can decide how missing values should be plotted: 'leave gap', 'assume zero' or 'continue line' (Issue 65549).

Bi-directional writing for chart elements
- The text direction of chart elements containing text can be customized (Issue 14365).
