Formati di file che possono essere elaborati da OOo

OpenOffice.org può aprire un'ampia varietà di formati, in aggiunta a quelli OpenDocument.

Apertura dei documenti di testo

Oltre ai formati OpenDocument (.odt, .ott, .oth e .odm), con Writer 3 è possibile aprire i formati usati da OOo 1.x (.sxw, .stw e .sxg) e i seguenti formati di documento di testo:

All'apertura di file .htm o .html (usati per le pagine web), OOo adatta Writer per lavorare con questi file.

Apertura dei fogli di calcolo

Oltre ai formati OpenDocument (.ods e .ots), con Calc 3 è possibile aprire i formati OOo 1.x (.sxc e .stc) e i seguenti formati di foglio di calcolo:

Oltre ai formati OpenDocument (.odp, .odg e .otp), con Impress 3 è possibile aprire i formati OOo 1.x (.sxi e .sti) e i seguenti formati di presentazione:

Oltre ai formati OpenDocument (.odg e .otg), con Draw 3 è possibile aprire i formati OOo 1.x (.sxd e .std) e i seguenti formati di immagine:

Apertura delle formule

Oltre ai formati dei file OpenDocument Formula (.odf), con Math 3 è possibile aprire i formati dei file usati da OOo 1.x (.sxm), StarMath (.smf) e MathML (.mml).

Se si apre un documento Word che incorpora un oggetto di equazione nell'editor, selezionare Strumenti > Opzioni > Carica/Salva > Microsoft Office, e l'oggetto sarà automaticamente convertito in OpenOffice.org Math.

Formati di file che possono essere scritti da OOo

Il salvataggio del file in formato OpenDocument garantisce la corretta visualizzazione del file quando viene dato ad un'altra persona o quando il file viene aperto con una versione più recente di OpenOffice.org. Si consiglia caldamente l'utilizzo di ODF come formato di file predefinito. Comunque, se lo desiderate, potete salvare i file in altri tipi di formato.

Salvataggio dei documenti di testo

Oltre ai formati OpenDocument (.odt e .ott), Writer 3 può salvare nei seguenti formati:

• Modello di presentazione OpenOffice.org 1.x (sti)
• Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP (.ppt e .pps)
• Modello di documento Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP (.pot)
• StarDraw, StarImpress (.sda, .sdd, e .vor)
• Unified Office Format presentation (.uop)

Con Impress è possibile inoltre esportare in MacroMedia Flash (.swf) e in un qualsiasi formato gradico elencato per Draw.

Salvataggio dei file grafici

Draw 3 può salvare solo nei formati OpenDocument Disegno (.odg e .otg), nei formati OpenOffice.org 1.x (.sxd e .std) e nel formato StarDraw (.sda, .sdd e .vor).

Tuttavia Draw può anche esportare nei formati BMP, EMF, EPS, GIF, JPEG, MET, PBM, PCT, PGM, PNG, PPM, RAS, SVG, SVM, TIFF, WMF e XPM.

Writer/Web può salvare nei seguenti formati di file

• Documento HTML (.html e .htm), come HTML 4.0 Transitional
• Modello di documento OpenOffice.org 1.0 HTML (.stw)
• Modello di documento OpenOffice.org 2.x HTML (.oth)
• StarWriter/Web 4.0 e 5.0 (.vor)
• Testo (OpenOffice.org Writer/Web) (.txt)
• Testo codificato (OpenOffice.org Writer/Web) (.txt)
