Templates serve a number of purposes ranging from the saving of repetitive effort to enabling easy standardization. For information on how to create a new template see [1]. To use a pre-existing Template, just insert the template in the desired location in the following fashion:

{{Bug}} Automatically link to issues
{{CWS}} Automatically link to child workspaces
{{De.OOo}} Used by the German project.
{{Delete}} Occasionally files need to be removed. Since most of us can't do that, just use the Delete template and it will be taken care.
{{Dummy}} Used with Marketing Pages. See Template talk:Dummy for more information.
{{Extensions}} Used by the Entensions Project.
{{Français}} Used by the Francophone Project.
{{Language}} Directs a person to a language appropriate Main Page.
{{ListofProjects}} Listing of projects currently on the Wiki
{{M}} Automatically link to milestones
{{Marketing}} A link listing of Marketing Project Pages
