- Item for this meeting: Problem of multiple release in the same version. Message from Martin Hollmichel. Thorsten described how Extensions/website/submission#Operating_System_dependant_extension_binaries should work and will let us (website@extensions) know the results of his trials.
- Bettina asked for feedback on the posting about planned features for organizing and accessing templates online. [1]. Esp. the usage of categories / subcategories / tags and search has to be defined.

- 3_2007-10-04: TBO will write down what he has in mind. It might be a good idea to handle the localization of the description within the extension source code to connect it to the OOo l10n process.
- 2008_04_10_01: At least till end of June 2008, there are no resources available.

- 2008_04_24: Martin Hollmichel and Hamburg Release Engineering are working on a solution to build and localize extensions independently from the office code base. NF already asked Martin and RE to ensure that this solution also works for non Sun extension contributors.

BH: Template Browser/Template Repository
Bettina added a first mokup to the wiki, including a proposal how the web based template browser might look like. Regarding registration, Bettina proposed that people should register when finally submitting the Templates after adding the corresponding data, not before. The mokup itself is available at http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Templates_online_features . Question is how new cathegories and sub cathegories make it into the repository. The team agrees that having just the download number within the UI is enought (no views number). The upload process should be as easy as possible. We like to have a initial implementation available with OOo 3.0. Regarding search, we should evaluate some means to create a Index based on the content of the templates beside having meaningfull meta data at hand. The download button will be renamed to "use it" because this reflects the meaning better.
Open questions:
- How to deal with bulg upload and updates
- Do we need unique file or display names => For the initial release yes. When implementing a office integration, this might change.
- Do we need versioning or is a simple comparism of file dates enaough? => No versioning initially.
- How should search look like in detail
The team agreed that we will start implementing the repository following the proposal by Bettina.
