Comments on Action Items

The category area is not useful as category, because the different font sizes and the arrangement of the names makes it hard to use it. Therefore it is renamed from Categories to Tags. Also the "By Category" link will be renamed to "By Tags". If may decide later about the introduction of useful categories. One also needs to clarify the process of adding new categories. See action item 4_2007-9-06.
There are some links at the bottom of the page (Contact us, To-dos, SiteHelp") which point to nowhere. See 3_2007-9-06.

TBO: Currently when uploading an extension with the same file name as another extension, the file name is changed. TBO is working on this.
Rendering of extension web-site in IE6 still unsatisfactory. TBO is working on this.
Disclaimer will be removed these days. All obvious test extensions will be disabled.
Testing of how the extensions appears in the repository can be done by uploading the extension as "unpublished". Then the developer can verify the entries on the web page. After that he can make the extension public.
Web-site update will not yet be supported by the extensions repository. Then we needed a way how one could manually add update information. The repository cannot access the extension because it is hosted on a different site.
