You can export your styles so as to reuse them at some later date or even pass them on to other users (useful for group work). To do that, go to Menu File › Templates › Save and choose an appropriate name such as Thesis. In order to import a style you have saved, go to Menu Format › Styles and formatting and there choose the small black triangle pointing downwards ▼ in the menu bar. Here press Load Styles… You will be presented with a list of styles, amongst them your Thesis. Here you can choose which categories you would like to import and if the imported styles should overwrite existing styles, which is very useful for post-formatting group work (see section 10). Also you can import styles directly from an existing document, in which case you needn’t have previously exported them.
