Can I adjust the rulers in Writer?


Yes, you can view and edit the horizontal ruler and a vertical ruler in Writer.

  1. In the menu bar, select Tools > Options.
  2. In the Options box, select Text Document > View.
  3. Click in the box labeled Rulers to toggle the rulers on or off. When the rulers are enabled, there is a check in the box, and you can select or deselect the horizontal and vertical rulers.

You can specify units for each ruler in the pulldown menus at the right of each selection.
