How do I turn off automatic word completion?
- Open a text document.
- From the pulldown menus, select Tools → AutoCorrect Options.
- Select the Word Completion tab.
- Deselect the checkbox to the left of Enable word completion.
- Click OK .
ALTERNATIVE METHOD:
- For OpenOffice.org 3.2 and 3.3, open a text document.
- From the pulldown menus, select Format → AutoCorrect → AutoCorrect Options.
- Select the Word Completion tab.
- Deselect the check box to the left of "Enable word completion".
- Click OK .
