Quick method
- Download through http://porting.openoffice.org/freebsd/
- Unpack from its distribution format (typically a tarball compressed with compress(1), gzip(1), or bzip2(1).
- Run pkg_add
- Install Java as needed.
- Install any language packs needed for OpenOffice.org.
