How do I find the file I just downloaded?

You can use Search from any Explorer Window if you cannot remember where you placed the file during the download process. If you just downloaded the Windows version of Apache OpenOffice, then the file should be called something like Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.8_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe. When you launch this executable, it will unpack the installation files to the destination of your choice (default is the desktop) before starting the installation process. Once the installation process is complete, you can delete this folder from your desktop.
