Can I change the measurement units from centimeters to inches?

Can I change the measurement units from centimeters to inches?


Yes, but it is slightly different between the components :

  • For Writer: "Tools" => "Options" and then "OpenOffice.org Writer" => "General" => "Settings"
    • You can also change the settings by clicking the right mouse button on the ruler at the top of the page.
  • For Calc: "Tools" => "Options" and then "OpenOffice.org Calc" => "General" => "Metrics"
  • For Impress: "Tools" => "Options" and then "OpenOffice.org Impress" => "General" => "Settings"
  • For Draw: "Tools" => "Options" and then "OpenOffice.org Draw" => "General" => "Settings"
    • You can also change the settings by clicking the right mouse button on the ruler at the top and let side of the page. These can be set differently from each other
