To change or reassign a template manually, first create a new, blank document from the required template. Then copy the contents of the old document into the new document. To use the Template Changer extension, first you need to download and install it, then restart OpenOffice to activate it. After that, you can open the document and use {{menu|File|Templates|Change Template (current document)}} from the main menu.
