Call for talks (DRAFT)

Open Document Editors Devroom at FOSDEM 2014, 1-2 February 2014, Brussels

Apache OpenOffice (formerly OpenOffice.org) and LibreOffice are coming again to FOSDEM, after last year's successful presence, and this year they are organizing a common track, called "Open Document Editors".

We invite submissions of talks for the Open Document Editors devroom, to be held on Saturday, 1 February, 10.00 to 17.30.

Technical talks (code, extensions, localization, QA, tools, significant use cases) about Apache OpenOffice, LibreOffice or the ODF format are welcome.

Submissions must be done using the Pentabarf system: https://penta.fosdem.org/submission/FOSDEM14 Please make sure to specify whether your talk concerns Apache OpenOffice, LibreOffice or both, and to include a few lines about yourself. We prefer short presentations, 15-20 minutes; if you need a longer slot please specify it in your description.

The deadline is Sunday, 22 December. Accepted talks will be published by January 8. Partial funding may be available for accepted speakers in need.

You can send any questions to the devroom mailing list: office-devroom@lists.fosdem.org
